If you have never organized an event you might think that changing or moving around one or two things from a wedding timeline won’t hurt anyone, but actually everything in the schedule has a reason to be in order for the day to flow smoothly.
I would suggest starting with the photography timeline. When you and your photographer have decided which pictures you will want and where, and when you have worked on the timing considering the lighting, then you can work other vendor’s timelines from there.
You will normally want to schedule hair and makeup services to be done right when the getting ready pictures begin in the timeline; this way the pictures will be of everyone already done but getting the final touch ups and looking already glammed up. If you are not having getting ready pictures done, you still want to leave enough time between being ready and the ceremony.
