Most resorts in the Riviera Maya Mexico area charge a vendor fee for outside wedding vendors to access. This is a huge inconvenience because the rates are high and they normally charge per vendor and even per person, making logistics twice as difficult for everyone.
Some services like hair and makeup can be done outside the hotel to avoid these fees. Some artists offer a studio where you can have the services done; additional fees might apply and it might happen that the studio location is far away from your wedding venue. Another alternative is to rent an airbnb close to your resort. So there are options, but is it worth it? I share with you some pros and cons so you can decide for yourself.

Cons
You will need 2-3 extra hours for transportation
You might get sweaty coming in and out the AC
You will have one extra thing to organize and have in mind
